A project for Ray and Christina who wanted to get married in space! They rented the Morrison Planetarium in San Francisco for the occasion. I created this environment in Unreal with some Marketplace items, OffWorld Live was the key to getting a 220 degree projected image out of Unreal straight to a sequential jpeg. Learned a lot about different projection types and what works well/poorly on a 75 foot projector.
First time doing a project of this scale and it was an absolute blast to figure out how to make it all work. We had a 10 minute video limit at 4096x4096. I created 10 minute looped animations for the earth and foreground sfi fi space structures, they looped about 6 times total for the wedding. All rendering and post was done in Unreal, an absolute powerhouse of an engine.
Enjoyed the chance to put my skills to the test for a project with a fast turn around and high quality bar.
